1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Love and Acceptance website and any donation, enquiry, registration, programme, event or other service made available through it. By using the website or submitting a transaction, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from the website.
If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant website function or submit a transaction.
2. About Love and Acceptance
Love and Acceptance is a registered non-profit organisation (Registration No. 35/2014) working in disability rehabilitation, assistance, inclusion and related charitable activities. The website provides organisational information, programme information, contact facilities and, where enabled, donation/payment facilities.
3. Accuracy of information you provide
You agree to provide true, accurate and complete information when using forms, making a donation, requesting a receipt, registering for an activity or seeking assistance. You are responsible for correcting material errors in the information you provide.
4. Donations and payments
By making a donation or payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the transaction is lawful. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment service provider, and its payment terms and security procedures may also apply.
A successful payment confirmation from the gateway does not by itself create an entitlement to a particular programme benefit, service, tax benefit or allocation unless expressly stated by us in writing.
Donations will be applied to the charitable objects, programmes and legitimate organisational needs described by us. Where we expressly accept a campaign-specific restriction, we will make reasonable efforts to apply the donation accordingly, subject to applicable law and practical feasibility.
5. Foreign contributions
Foreign contribution is regulated in India. Foreign contributions will be accepted only if and to the extent that Love and Acceptance is legally authorised to receive them under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA) and related rules, and only through the banking channel permitted by law.
If the organisation does not hold a valid FCRA registration or prior permission for a proposed foreign contribution, that contribution must not be accepted. By making a foreign contribution, you confirm that the contribution and its source comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction and in India.
6. Tax and receipts
Where a donation acknowledgement, 80G receipt or other tax-related document is issued, it will reflect the information provided by you and the applicable legal requirements at the time of issuance. Tax deductibility depends on individual circumstances and applicable law; we do not guarantee deductibility for any specific donor or transaction unless expressly confirmed in writing in relation to that transaction.
7. Intellectual property
The website content, including text, images, logos, names, programme descriptions and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Love and Acceptance. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly perform or create derivative works from any part of the website without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference as permitted by law.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the website for any unlawful purpose; to submit false, misleading or fraudulent information; to impersonate any person or organisation; to transmit harmful code, malware or unsolicited communications; or to interfere with the website's functioning, security or integrity. We reserve the right to deny or restrict access for any user who violates these Terms or applicable law.
9. Privacy
Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully before using the website or submitting personal information.
10. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or depend on third-party services such as payment gateways, maps, social platforms, analytics or external websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability beyond what applicable law requires.
11. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue website content or functions for maintenance, security, legal, operational or programme reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website availability.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that all website information will always be complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free. We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, the website, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Force majeure
We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, failures of banking or telecommunications systems, cyber incidents or other force-majeure events, subject to applicable law.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law and any non-waivable statutory forum or remedy, courts having competent jurisdiction in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
